Terry has always exhibited a high level of responsibility and
work ethic. He began his career in the transportation industry as a
very young man. In 1979 he took a position with Thunderbird Motor
Freight in Youngstown, Ohio, dispatching loads of steel. In 1980 he
accepted a promotion with Mason Dixon Truck Lines, also in
dispatching. With the decline of the steel industry in northeast
Ohio, his next opportunity was working for the Parker White Metal
Company in Beaufort, South Carolina. He was placed in charge of the
Quality Control and Inspections at the tool and die foundry. After
three years, Terry and his growing family decided to move back to
the mid-west to be closer to family and provide his sons and
daughter better opportunities in school.
In Columbus, Indiana, in 1984, Terry was back in the trucking
industry with MWT. MWT was sold in 1990, and at that time, Terry
moved his family to central Ohio. Terry worked for the Sanfillipo
Produce Company from 1991 to 1993 when the company was sold. While
there, he loaded and routed delivery trucks and made
deliveries.
In 1994, Terry began working for Triple T Transport, Inc. With
Triple T Transport, he successfully brokered loads of produce out
of the western United States for ten years. Wanting to draw on his
years of experience, Triple T Transport put Terry in charge of
training new employees. This allows our new employees to learn how
to provide the same level of service Terry has provided for so many
years. He is still doing it today, along with other valuable
functions such as:
- Customer relations
- Rates
- Sales
- Office management
